We were delighted to welcome Emma Martins on 16 October 2024, who provided our members with an overview of what is happening in the world of data-protection, trends that we should be aware of and lessons we can learn from recent key events. An internationally renowned data protection expert, Emma was previously Data Protection Commissioner for both Jersey and Guernsey and she is currently the Chief Commissioner for the UK Data and Marketing Commission as well as a Specialist Advisor for local firms Law at Work and Atadgen.
